burning oil
any of you guys burn oil and how much.
i only had me evo for about 3 months. so far after puting 2k miles on it its burned about half a quart . i do drive it preatty hard. it sees several red line pulls everyday. so i supose i have nothing to worry about. compression is also perfect on all 4 cilinders. maybe i should get a catch can?

did u break the car in right for the first 600miles? I did and i still had to add oil for about the first 2000miles and it kinda stopped now. it seems as the engines are new they burn some oil.

It even says in the owners manual that slight oil burning is normal.Especially when driving the car hard. So ndont worry its completely normal. When you start to burn a quart every 5-600 miles then you should worry.
