Hey guys I was wondering I am having a problem with overboosting and it did not occur until i upgraded to 10.5 hotside. I was wondering if an 05 evo has a different wastegate actuator than the 03. The reason I ask is because my arm seems to be stuck to the position in which i installed it on the hotside. Thanks

No. Same actuator.

 

You are gonna have to reset your WG 's preload by lengthening the wastegate actuator rod, since the larger turbine housing places the solenoid farther away from the flapper valve pivot point. Also the angle of the rod is now different than it was on the 9.8. Drop me a PM if you got any questions.
