Ok I want to change my tranny fluid and Center Diff/Transfer Case fluid. I want to do it myself, so I know how to do it, and not the Stealership....

What kind of OEM fluid is in the Tranny, how many quarts?

Techline told the dealer there is a different fluid in the Transfer case, its a darker colored fluid because there is a cooling additive in it. I have verified the color myself, and yes it is darker than the tranny fluid

I want to change everything out in an attempt to make the decel noise less harsh, as others on this board have done. Thanks.

 

used what is recommended in your owners manual all the gear lubes should be in there.

 

thats how it ends up most of the time, dang a lot dont have a manual...
