There is no such thing as a Borg Warner GT30R. The Borg warner is an S256 which is comparably sized to a "50-trim".

The trick is that it supposedly spools faster than a 50-trim and makes more power than a GT3076. If that turns out to be true, it will be the magic turbo of everyone's dreams, including mine. The problem is that a version of this turbo BOMBED in Bushur's test, but Borg Warner said they sold him one with a poorly designed internally-gated Mitsubishi-style turbine housing. SLS uses a T3 style externally-gated turbine housing that is supposedly much, much better.

I know turbo nomenclature is confusing, so all I can say is, wait for the SLS results, hopefully only another week or two.

I remember that thread regarding the 50 trim. I emailed Nick @ SLS, I don't think you're going to get any sort of imperical evidence or testing other than a few passes down the 1320, because I asked him about dyno results and this is what he said:

"Never has been on the dyno all street tuned. Personally numbers to me are
only numbers its how it performs on the track that counts. There is so
many different dyno's out there now and they all read so drastically far
apart from each other that dyno #'s these days really cant even be
compared."
So based on what he said previuosly in regards to where 21 psi of boost occurs:

"Yes the kits are available and have been for sometime w/ the Garrett
units. we are still doing some testing w/ the Borg Warner units. We did
a
local 03 EVO8 w/ the GT3076R, it see's full boost on pump gas 0f 20-22
psi
@ 3800 rpm and on race gas around 3600rpm. That specific setup was
stock
motor, cams, intake just bolted on the turbo kit, ran 11.7 on pump gas
and
11.3@126 on race gas. Our FMIC cores are also now finished and ready as
well.

Unless I'm mistaken, this is all the info we'll be getting. But, if it's accurate, then I'd be very interested in one of their kits.

You would need the custom turbine housing and a custom manifold like drifto's to get a true twin-scroll setup.
this has been proved wrong time and time again.

SGT blamo, wait until after the 16th when i get my ported ATP 3037s dynoed and tuned with all supporting mods.

BTW Deadbeatrec it hasn't been proven time and time again in anywayl, I have seen two ATP kits that have performed well, all the rest have been a complete waste of time money and effort.

LOL, well technically two times would be "time and time again".

But for real, way more ATP disappointments than successes so far.
