It's only not allowed in SCCA. He may not be talking about SCCA, though.

Evoixpr, if you have the choice, you would ALWAYS want to use race gas. It's not even an argument. However, the reason we use meth injection is so that we have all the power all the time without having to always buy race gas. If you're only cranking the boost during autocrosses (not really that necessary), then do it with race gas. If you want to have all that power all the time, then get meth. Either way, if you get meth injection, don't bother doing 50/50; do 100% (no water).

I agree, I didn't see the PR...but 100% really doesn't make a significant gain over 50% on stock turbo...I barely noticed a difference, not even a mph in the traps...but to each their own...

The power potential of 100% meth is far more than 50/50. Dunno why you didn't gain anything, but maybe it's in the tuning.

Its not just me, I guess it depends on how much you are injecting as well, I use a fairly large nozzle for a stock turbo and I believe that may have some to do with it but there is only so much octane boost before its makes no diffence...50% has been calculated to be nearly 120 (theoretical..) but back on topic haha

I dunno, maybe. There's some pretty good scientific backing for this, though.
