I like the sound of those cams, The actual term is lope though not loop. Still nothing can beat the lope of a V8 - but still sounds good on a inline-4 - nice work, hope to get cams myself some day.

Nils got them from me, pretty much a first run of the S1 grind for the Evo 8. lol, i even flew to cali to install them for him and get him ready for the west coast time attack season. He is our only sponsored individual at GSC and we like to win so we make sure if our name is on a car it is going to be fast. We don't sponsor people here our products are worth every penny they cost and no need to give them away; Nils driving is awesome and the fact that he is an old friend from the supra community got him some preferential treatment. Nils, asked me to get him some more power out of his car for this season, so i slapped in some S1's and the rest is history. 2 second margin over the next fastest car in class at Redlines time attack this weekend.

Dan, you have no idea the smile Zack is about to have on his face when that car comes out of storage. From HKS 264s to S2s is like comparing a 308 Ferrari to an Enzo. I can't wait for that phone call! Thanks for the input on the forum and I’m glad you liked our products looks, the best is still to come

I have an Exedy twin plate HD in the garage that needs new discs. Once I get the disc's the TC is going to Shep and the Exedy is going in!

Do you guys sell the rebuild kit for Exedy part number: MM022HD

I called today but you must of been real busy, I will give you shout tomorrow sometime.

You would probrably be more insterested in the S1 idle quality. These S2's are A-LOT bigger than the HKS 280's. Comparing the HKS 264's to the S2's is like apples to oranges it just isn't right....

Zach,

i have been talking to greg,

he is doing something similar for us........ im trying to get him to do something different so we can pound on the dyno...

let's see what we can make these 2.3 35R ecuflashed evo's put out!!

our dyno was recalibrated by mustang yesterday, it was reading slightly low because of our weather correction station being off....

so we should see some good numbers... i have an idea of what we will make on pump...

I wasnt comparing the cams them selve's just the idle quality. I have heard everything from "I have hks 264's and it sounds stock" to "they idle a lot worse then I thought" so I wanted to get another opinion from someone who owned them.

OIC, almost no differance in idle quality between the HKS 264's and stock. Made the exhaust note change a bit thats all, other than that I didn't notice much.

Greg is the man, he is the right man for the job and guarentee that! I can't wait to get her down there and on the dyno. First I need to get my clutch / TC built up before I start breaking things!

The reason the S2's are a little choppy in the video is because I have the base scaling errored a little lean at idle and until the O2 sensor gets hot it does a little lean "misfire" if that is even possible at idle. When the idle is brought to a proper 1000 rpm's, the weather warms up, and the injector's are scaled a little better (were off like .1-.2ms) it'll idle really good. As in i'd daily drive it kind of idle. It will idle better than most sportbikes IMO. They have no surging and hold ok vacuum at idle. If the ISC motor isn't fighting the idle then you know its going to work out well.

I've heard 4g63's with a manual idle and no vacuum leaks surge at idle the cams were so big!
