ATP Kit

Hey question, it has been a while since i have modded my 2005 EVO MR and i think i am going with the atp turbo kit from turbo-kits.com with the gt35r turbo...i was told by ATP to get 1000cc injectors and i told my self that i would most likely need a new clutch since i am still on stock...should i add anything else other then the injectors...ATP said i cna run this setup (with my current mods + the turbo kit) with my stock FMIC but i will loose a little power...is there anything that i need or should i be good? thanx

Mods under my sig.

Well you should get an upgraded FMIC.That is a must!
Secondly i wouldnt suggest you going with the ATP kit.
Go with either Buschur Racing or AMS!
Also with that i would suggest a stand alone!

guys have made pretty decent #'s with this kit but the more proven products is a way to go...imo...but i think the atp kit is a nice stock appearing kit...meaning you still retain the stock mani and heatshield...but the only thing that gives the sle eper look away is the 4in comp housing and the lag...20glt is probably the best sleeper turbo but im not going there because there are just too much info on that!!!..

Ya I have a ATP kit they are OK, but just send in your stock 8 turbo to FP and have it rebuilt to a FP green for $1000-1300.00 I am ready to buy a stocker and have it modified because the spool isent the greatest and I make abou the same hp but far less tourqe then the green (ATP GT3076R) Unless you port/polish and gasket port the ATP kit. More $$$$ so you really dont save anything in the long run.

Cool

Sticking to your question, maybe swapping out to a resonated test pipe, and get some kinda fmic upgrade of your choice, get a upper i/c pipe for some better spool repsonse somewhat as well. If you wanna spend a little extra get maybe a upgraded throttle body from buschur or works and gasket match your intake manior just just get a new one altogether from your choice of vendors ( AMS,Buschur, etc.)
O yeah defintely one more thing just for added insurance and long term driving wise change out your clutch first before you get too happy stomping the pedal to the metal.

How does a Garrett gt35r from ATP spool faster than a Garrett gt35r from anyone else?

The twin scroll .78 a/r housing?

The twin scroll .78 a/r housing that is way too small for a 35r?

The twin scroll .78 a/r housing that hurts the turbo due to back pressure?

The twin scroll .78 a/r housing that should be used on turbo's gt3071r sized and smaller?

That twin scroll housing? That's the one your talking about?

Twin scroll housing's need to be sized quite a bit larger than standard housings.
