ok so i have been thinking about how my extra boost would cause higher egt's. however when i was breaking in my clutch i wasnt boosting at all. i would be crusing at 85mph and still be at 1500+deg if i took my foot all the way off the gas i would drop down to 900deg.

We see the AFR but I wish you could read your ECU to see what the timing looks like... probably 8 8 8 8 8 8 8 8 8 8 lol

Do they make any changes to the fuel in Texas during the winter time? I kinda doubt it but wanted to ask.

, Al's signature style of tune, tune PIG rich and flood it with a "sea of 8s"

You can't unless you "unlock" your map. I really don't know anything about this process... I gave up paying for tunes a long time ago. It's a great feeling to be able to do things yourself (especially when what you've done works better than what you paid hundred of dollars for).

it's not a sea of 8's fortunately. and the ecu isn't locked, its just opened with the wrong metadata file thingy.

1600F is nothing to worry about. I used to worry about my temps all the time, but after a year and a half I have no problems with the car... My IX currently puts out 110whp over stock and sees max temp of 800C+ after the turbo (at the o2) with no problems. as long as you have no knock and the tune is safe, I wouldnt sweat it...
