I just talked to Robert, 850 for you to send in your IX turbo and 1000 to send in your 8 turbo.

you are going to get back your 9.8 hosuign tho, they wont just throw in a free 10.5 housing.

I actually already have the 10.5 but i'd assume they dont even need that side of the turbo anyway.

there is a very important part in that install kit, the turbo outlet pipe because if you use the stock 8 outlet with the 9 turbo it can come in contact with the starter wire and that would be an issue you don't want to deal with. just a heads up

They do need the ex housing you send them. Thats the one that will be machined. So it is correct if you send them a 9.8 that is what the turbo will be made with. If you send a 10.5 that is what you get back.

HOSrt4, just wanted to verify: $850 + a 9 turbo core will get you the 20gLT or the 20g9?

thanks for the info; almost seems too good to be true... I remember a recent thread stating that both the Evo 8 and 9 turbos could be exchanged + $1000 for a 20gLT. I guess FP changed there minds?
