Why don't you PM, Scott, at TTP Engineering? He is a KnockLink dealer and uses it on his race car. He posted up once about where to install the sensor. I think it is on the same cylinder where factory sensor is located but on the opposite side of the block(if my memory serves me well ).

Edit: Wish that I could furnish some pics, but I didn't use the provided knock sensor as I just tapped into the factory knock sensor wire when I installed the KnockLink on my car.

Look, w/o me doing a search and finding the thread, and just going off memory, which has proven to be not crystal clear......The knock sensor that comes with the Knocklink is externally threaded.

If you locate the factory knock sensor which should be fairly easy to locate, and if I recall is threaded into a boss located at the #2 cylinder location. Then on the opposite side of the block also located near the #2 cylinder(but on the opposite side), there is an identical threaded boss cast into the engine block.

From what I recall, the provided Knocklink knock sensor threads into that boss with no difficulty whatsoever. Now, this, as I said is based on my recollection of a post by Scott, quite a while back. So, take it with a grain of salt. Or do a search. Goodluck.

I have the Knock Link and just tied it into the factory sensor.

WORKS GREAT!
