Differences in VIII and IX intermediate pipe (exhaust)
OK, I searched.
I'm considering running the stock cat back with an aftermarket test pipe and DP. I know the rear O2 bung in the IX is in the cat and in the VIII its in the intermediate pipe. Here are my questions:
1) Does the IX intermediate pipe have any less resonators? Is it less restrictive?
2) Can I use an VIII intermediate pipe just fine since it has the bung on my IX? Will it bolt up the same?
