i really need some more info and reviews of this exhaust for my 05 EVO VIII. I searched and found very little about it. Any of you guys have vids/pics i could feast my eyes/ears on? I'm looking for a VERY aggresive exhaust thats loud and super obnoxious.

The HPF exhaust is definatly loud and obnoxious. My friend has it and I rode in the back one time, could hardly hear anybody talking even at normal cruise speed.
Its a good quality piece!

 

I have the system on my car and it is very loud.. Even at cruising speeds as Jim said.. I am not sure it is due to my bigger turbo kit/cams.. My friend also has the kit from the turbo back on a stock turbo.. It is still very loud on his car. When he is WOT it is about the level my sounds when I am just cruising up to speed..

 

I have the HPF full 3.5"tbe with an Invidia 02 housing on a IX RS
and I can tell ya that it sets off car alarms just cruising around town!
It has a nice deep low frequency exhaust note,but there also is
alot of resonation present at about 2.2k rpms.Then again my RS
has like no sound deadening material in it,so that makes it worse too.

True that.. Just starting up my car will set car alarms off if they are parked around me. I always have to remember to turn off my other cars alarm when I am coming home or leaving I can set off my car alarm from ~3-4 houses down if I give it more than 30%ish throttle. I am sure the people hate me on my street

Well, i just picked up the last remaining HPF 3.5in Goliath ehxaust HPF had in stock. I got an awesome deal on it. Kevin at HPF was awesome. Should be here on tuesday of next week. I'm gonna be slapping it on and tune her. I'm interested in seeing how this thing performs. My tuning experience tells me that it will make a bit more power than a 3in system on stock boost levels.

I will do a write up and post some comparisons after i get everything installed.

i believe they said they will have more ready in about two weeks. Might wanna give Kevin@HPF a call and find out for sure. I just got lucky. I do know fab time is around two weeks for this system.
