Yeah, 555R, there's been a recent thread on the incredibly low price of converting the VIII and IX turbos into a genuine 20G-LT, a.k.a., BR20G-LT. You may wanna call Forced Performance, and get the pricing info straight from them. Since they are the originators of the 20G-LT/FP Evogreen, as well as other bolt-on options such as the WR-9(White Rabbit w/ IX compressor housing), the BR 20G-9-5 and etc.

They can also configure your existing IX turbo into a TME-9, which is just your IX compressor side with the TME's TiAl turbine, or any of the other above mentioned bolt-ons. Or you could try something that no one has tried and have them build you a IX-LT(kind of a mismatched, Bizarro 16G mutant turbo), which would be your existing 16G compressor wheel and IX compressor housing, with the higher inertia, lower backpressure, turbine wheel of the EvoGreen.

I called Robert at Forced Performance to ask him about the differences between the WR-9 and the FP Evogreen and he talked me into buying the Evogreen....so beware.

Yes, at that price...I ordered one already. Since Buschur is just selling the FP product rebadged, maybe THEY don't want to do core charges or sell for less than the $1700 retail, but directly from FP the cost is $845 if you send your turbo. For $1145 they will send you one and then you return yours for $300 refund. Then you can have it ported or get an upgraded wastegate, but those are really the only options.
