you guys running 272s whats your rpm at idle??? i couldnt find a topic...

I idle about 960RPM and advanced the timing. Idles pretty smooth. Not stock, but pretty smooth.

 

yea mines flashed around 1000 its too high fer me....especially in drive thrus lol....my cars also flashed 5 degrees advance at peak...that seems a little too much???

 

I never changer the idle on the evo 8 with BC cams or with the GSC what cams are you guys using

 

I idle around 900rpm, I really like it, with a little lope.

 

I have 280 intake/272 exhaust and it idles lope but sounds good!! (mine is under950 RPM's)

 

yea i definatly want my lope!!! ill prolly try and lower it to around 950 or so....the ecuflash program with a tactrics cable can do this right

 

i have hks 272 and my idel is at 850 and theres a small loop. its preatty smooth though

 

My main problem is clutching to a stop. The idle has a hard time correcting and gets choked up. Somtimes its ok though. Oh and BC 272s w springs and retainers

My tuner put my idle at 1K rpm. Has a nce slight lopeto it. It sounds good and is real nice. No problems accelerating or deccelerating. Just kinda tougher than stock when cold outside and car is not completely warm up. I have to stay slightly throttled or it will stall. I have HKS 272 e/i. Love IT!

 

I am at 1000 and sometimes 1100, But Keep in mind that I drive at 4200 to 8000 altitude.

 

900-1k. Stock tach makes it kinda hard to determin exactly where im at. I ecuflahed it for 1k though.

Just got my GSC 272's installed today @ +1/-1. Nice lope once the car warms up. We had to adjust the idle, because it wanted to stall. Idle is now around 1000. Still untuned and running off the stock ECU, since I pulled the XEDE out. XEDE goes back in and gets tuned once I get my EvoGreen and a few other things.
