another stock turbo evo ix tune..

did another car yesterday.

was previously my daily driver, sold to a client.

had:

helix uicp
HPF lower
megan header and o2 housing
dc sports downpipe
evo2 style catback
aem intake (first time ive tuned one of these)
EVC 6 EBC
aps bov
fuel pump

this car had a decent street map, since it was my car before, i had detuned it slightly when it was purchased (had 3,000 miles on it) and still had a drop in filter then. buyer added the EBC (had a hallman pro rx) and the intake.

did apprx 280ish whp/ and 240ish wtq before the tune... at 20psi...

ended up averaging 320-326 whp and 288-296wtq at 23 psi 11.3 afr peak tapering to 10.8 at 7200rpm. on the last 5 back to back pulls i saw a couple of single knock counts... which is a pretty safe dealio.

i actually prefer the hallman mbc, we see very nice boost curves with them.

ill post a chart up later.

a stock evo ix will do 215ish/215ish on our dyno in stock form. we had a ix rs lay down 228/228 in stock form, but the car felt exceptionally strong, and also i was using the 3625 lbs weight in the settings (mustang dyno, but this number makes very little difference).

anyway, the ix's are just potent cars on stock turbo and pump gas, quick spool etc..

charts later today.
