Question Shifting from 2nd to 3rd

Has anyone else noticed a metal on metal feeling when shifting from 2nd to 3rd, almost like you have not depressed the clutch pedal enough? Or is it just me?

IMO the Evo requires a very long clutch stroke compared to other performance cars that I have owned/driven. When I was doing the post break-in hard driving I was missing lots of shifts because I wasn't depressing the clutch fully. Since then I have moved up my seat a notch and now I rarely mis-shift.

I noticed it for also for about the first 2000 miles. Now that I have 2500 miles the tranny is much smoother shifting. There are no problems at all shifting in any gear fast or slow. It just needs a little time to get broken in.
