I have a different question: I'm putting on the AMS VSR with the stock intake. Well the stock intake be enough of a restriction to kill the gains of the VSR intake. Stay tuned...

I bought the VSR manifold today. I'm waiting for it to come to my house. That would give me some time to sell my stock evo 9 turbo.

NOOOOOOOOOOO WTF R U THINKING!!!!

I'm Not trying to bash you but that is a ridiculously wasteful purchase for your setup. Be prepared to lose your awesome power curve all for the sake of a few ponies up top. Not to mention the driveability issues (EGR) you'll encounter with the stock ECU. That manifold is suited for big turbos and built motors on a standalone. You could have spent that $1200 on something far more beneficial to your current set up, but its your money, so party on !

does anyone ever read anymore this is directly from their site!!!

"AMS recomends any car looking to run less then 650 Whp should use either the stock Throttle body or a ported stock throttle body. This will ensure your stock Idle Air control motor to remain functonal and drastically improve daily Driveability."

Reno evo is dead on with his comment, but sorry bro you threw 1200 down the ****ter!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ouch, I'm thinking longer term because I'll be stroking my engine to a 2.3 down the road. EGR isn't going to affect the driveability of the evo even with the ecuflash.
