the exhaust is welded by people...everybody makes a mistake once in a while. I'm sure if you gave Buschur a call he would have straightened things out. I have a v-band as well and i cant say enough about it.

I would be interested in seeing these welds as well. Who is the "vendor" you took this to?

I do agree that the Bullet is a better muffler choice. But to each is his own. It will make more power, it is lighter but it is a bit louder.

As for going with a Greddy Ti or the HKS..... Our exhaust will make more power and it is the lightest SS system you will find. The Ti doesnt under weigh it by much.

Here is a article on catback testing you can check out if you would like. http://www.tprmag.com/issue/5/5_turbo_exhausts.shtml

I would like to see these bad welds as well. I have the BR TBE but not the v-band, and my welds were and still are top notch.

Personally I love the BR TBE. Mine has the Magnflow. No problems with the welds, they were fine when bought it almost 2 years ago and they are still going strong.

bump for pics of 'poor welds'

just to update, Jim from Buschur (I believe that was his name) called me earlier today and told me there was something wrong with the test pipe (something with the welds I think.) It is fixed now and is in the mail coming back to me. Buschur took care of the problem, and really gave an extra effort to help me. I have nothing but good things to say about Buschur Racing. Everyone makes a mistake now and then, and they were willing to fix the mistake at no charge to me.

+1

more and more vendors dont want to deal with the sales part and think that everyone wants to order over a website.
