02 housing

Well my friend and I finally got time to install the down pipe yesterday and when we got the bolt out of the o2 housing it was stripped. A bigger bolt didntwork either.so now to the real question. Will an aftermarket o2 housing pass emissions testing?
And where can I get new bolts with the springs for the downpipe to o2 housing. Please help

Yes an aftermarket O2 housing will pass emissions as long as the stock catalytic or similar converter is in place.

As long as you don't have any check engine lights and have a cat in place, I don't see why it wouldn't pass emissions. Then again, not sure about PA but in CT, they use the diagnostics port on OBD2 vehicles. And why not grab new bolts from the dealer, they can't be too much. Goodluck.

Dealer bolts are actually kind of pricey. I can provide part numbers if you need.
