Flush the tranny at 2000 miles?? Diff too??
Ok so I have been reading a bit and some people have said that it is a good idea to flush the drivetrain and put in new fluids because being all new parts there are going to be metal shavings in there.
I think that 5-speed evos come with the magnetic drain plugs, but the MR does not for whatever reason.
So if anyone can give me some good advice that would be great. I am going to be using stock Diaqueen fluids.
And for reference purposes my 2nd gear has been hard to get into ever since I drove the car off the lot with 11 miles.....it feels like it skips a tooth or something when it is engaging second.

Yes, it needs to be done. I saw the metal shavings just from 1000 miles. I would use MR 6 speed tranny fluid and OEM LSD gear fluid for gears and transfer case. you will need about 2.8 qt for tranny and It needed like 1 qt for transfer case and rear differential fuild changes.
