do i need to tune by doing the following mods ??

OPTION A = i was thinking on eliminating the catalyst with an invidia test-pipe, and an K7N drop in filter

OPTION B = drop in filter, test-pipe to eliminate cat, full turbo cat exaust and o2 housing,,, and if you guys have any other ideas please share them.

will i need a tune after these mods,,,,
my opinion is YES, reason will create more boost because i freed up the turbo by deleting the cat , however thats why i am asking the experts need to learn,,,, thanks

if you recomend tuning please let me know what type of tuning device do i need please explaine somewhat.

drop in, TBE, leave out the 02 housing (doesn't really matter yet), and tune. Get a turbo timer too, this should be your first mod.

Bump this. Yes, boost controller. Good catch KevinD. I'm at work and wasn't thinking right. Still in the work mode.

any mod that alters the a/f should be tuned for to prevent leaning out you car, knocking, and worst detonation.

Man, look, you have made all these newbie threads and STILL have not bothered to search after being chastised multiple times. You shouldn't even be asking if you need tuning, because it's the most important mod you can do. Why would you be more worried about an exhaust than a tune when a tune costs less and makes more power?

What type of tuning device? Seriously, come on!! You don't need any device - you get flashed. This is stuff my little brother knows, and he isn't even old enough to drive. Please just start searching instead of constantly asking to be spoonfed. /rant
