MAP conversion question

When converting to MAP, does the manifold differential pressure sensor (#33 on the attached picture) on the intake manifold get disconnected?

MDP is only used by the ECU to verify EGR functionality. If this is not important to you (DSMlink, AEM, etc) you do not need the MDP sensor. It is concievable that you could do the MAP conversion and still keep a functional EGR, but I don't think anyone does.
