Anyone of those ull need to go with 280's and sooner or later somethings gonna have to be done with the bottom end.

Look into running meth too.

the 35r will be a little more laggy but its worth it because when you do the bottom end you will have plenty of potential out of the turbo and make much more power when the 3076 would be maxxed out. the lag isnt bad at all though on the 35r.

I agree with the above poster, the 35r is awsome I love mine! but if lag is a serious issue for you then stick with the 30r it can still make great power. Good luck!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I actually am not a fan at all of the 35R or any big turbo. I personally think the best quality of the EVO is its exotic car like handling. When you put a big turbo on you totally throw off the balance of this car. If you want a drag car, buy a Mustang Cobra and mod that IMO. If you want a fast, well balanced, great handling, great braking, great super fast DD then the EVO is where it's at.

I recommend a 20G-LT with meth if you want the best of both worlds. But hey, that's just me...

I'm not so sure I would call a GT30R, or even a 35R a big turbo, but, its all relative. But I do understand the balance you are talking about. The "problem" is that the stock Evo turbo is just so good, any kind of real upgrade is going to throw the car off You have to spend so much for a stock appearing turbo for marginally better performance but people need to see big dyno sheets to be impressed and to feel like they got their money's worth, so a lot of people end up going "big(ger)" and accepting lag as a tradeoff.

To me a 20G/50trim/GT30R are really close, and in that order for spool and streetability and power in ascending order. More especially if we had Td06 20g's. If you want that same razor sharp quickness, do a 2.2L and a GT30R and I'd think you'd have a well balanced machine again, but with more power.

I im'd him after he showed intrest in another vishnu kit and he said he was interested in my kit. After talking to him on the phone and asking him 3-4 times if he was completely 100 percent positive he wanted it, because I was not willing to stip my manifold, turbo, downpipe, radiator and drain all the fluids from my engine for a maybe, so he claimed he was positive.

Now he claims his car is wrecked and he cannot afford the kit.....

Gptourer I agree on your comment's exactly, I love my 2.3 and 30R.

It all depends upon what sort of hp you look for...
In order to get the best of 35R you should first built your motor.....
But if you want to stick with the stock motor and use pump gas with meth...go for 50Trim or 3065....

35R Lag is over rated. I made the leap and wouldn't look back. sure it changed the "balance" of the car but it still brakes, and handles the same. It just takes a few more revs to get it movin.

I guess AMS and Buschur threw off the balance of their record setting evos cause they put bigger turbos?

On this turbo your not getting any more then 550whp with race gas. It starts to run out of air past thouses power levels. Max psi would be around 25-29psi then power starts to drop. Which with this turbo you dont have to get that many supporting mods. And it loves pump and race gas.

Or you can be baller like me and get one of theses
