Transmission mount stud inquiry
Transmission mount stud inquiry
As I've read it on this forum, the removal/installation of the transmission mount(under the battery) involves lowering the drivetrain a few inches in order to clear the four studs.
My question is, wouldn't it be easier to:
1.)double-nut each stud
2.)back each one out
3.)remove the mount?
My main concerns with lowering the drivetrain are putting unneccessary strains/forces on the axles.
Any insight appreciated.
