I've been on evolutionm for awhile and have always loved reading all the advice that can be learned from,i've owned a 04 ralliart and have justed traded it in on a 03 evo for 23g.Thats all the easy part now this is what is in the back of mind 1. the car has only 18k miles on it 2. the car has a 3in exhaust cuting out the cat and the dealer won't get it inspected probably cause he knows it's gonna fail 3. the cel light is on but that is not no big deal cause they always come on but i'll prob go to a autozone just to find out exactly what it is . 4. this is my first turbo car and i'm just retarded anything with an turbo getting all the gauges and all the electronic stuff that is needed. 5. and a couple days ago i'm driving down the road and get ready to pass a car in front of me so i down shift to 4th and step on the gas and the car starts to sound like it's choking or something i can still drive it but it's doing that so i stay behind this car all the way to the store and it does'nt do it anymore so i leave the store and take off a little fast and right after 2nd it does it again and the i go to 3rd gear and it does it again then there was a pop so pull over and there is anti-freeze all over the inside but i could'nt see where it came from exactly so i turn around and drive to my brothers house about a mile down the road and we take look and one of the hose poped off , right next to the battery i don't know what hose it was but i put it back on and put new anti-freeze back in it.So now if i baby the car a little and not step on it , it does'nt do it i've done a search and i have'nt exactly found what it may be. so of the things i found was it might be a boost leak, or one the ic pipes maybe leaking. But that is the closest that i found.Any advice or if this has happened to anyone, this is the only forum that i go on cause i think it's the best for any evo,ralliart,or lancer owner, and best supported by vendors.anyway thanks.
