And this... dual diffusers? I know the one on the JDM 9 bumper is just for show... but is this setup for show or is it functional?

Especially with the gap between diffusers

none of this is mine... it's all for the benefit and information of everyone in the world.

i am making my own front undertray. i just don't know if i want to make a lip or not. i'm running the cwest and my ride height is pretty high. i still scrape on some things, some shopping driveways etc.

a lip will generate a lot of downfoce but the problem is clearence and also that i'd like to make my undertray out of the thinnest possible material. that will induce both more labor and some basic materials problems to reinforce only the lip by say adding/doubling the thickness of the lip's sheet metal.

the only other alternative is to make the entire thing out of thick gauge sheet and i dont find that to be a good option at all

the main goal of my project is to hold the bumper up so i can add serious canards and not peel the bumper off... adding a lip would be secure too but hte lip is proving to be an engineering headache.

My bumper was reinforced on the sides to handle the extra down force...

Why not make everything out of fiberglass?

I found two companies that make large fiberglass sheets... that you can make undertrays with...

If everything for me is completed by this weekend, I can get you some details, contact numbers and maybe some parts.

Right now its hectic...getting ready for Dulles HIN and trying to be 100% complete by Philly HIN.

fiberglass is cool and all but it breaks, it's heavy, not ductile and a pain in the *** to work with. plus sheets don't do me any good because i'm making wheel well diffusers and other things of the sort that are easier with a moldable metal that can be welded instead of getting dirty and itchy wtih glass.

I am actually looking for a front and rear diffuser but I don't know which one is the best.

Can you guys tell me which one is the best for the front and rear. It must be functional.

Thanks
