Guys a little help...

ok what do you make of this? i am a proud owner of a 03 evo and have a mods most people have, like full turboback, intake and going for a reflash this week. my question is this, i tried working with my Greddy type-s BOV in my car but it just doesnt hold boost! i love the noise it makes and would like to keep it but its just not fun having boost spikes... so put the plastic chepo 1 back. i have noticed that the plastic BOV has a stronger flang or opening door, than the type-s. do they sell stronger springs so my type-s could hold my 22-23psi firm? or what kind of BOV do you guys recommend? thanks in advance.

Well, first of all, how do you know the Greddy isn't holding boost? We get boost spikes no matter what - it has nothing to do with the BOV. The stock BOV is not stronger than any Greddy Type-S.

Regardless, though, why mess around with the Greddy to begin with? It's not a useful mod, and if you want to set your car up properly, then you need to get an MBC, replace the Greddy with a JDM MR DV (or stock IX DV), add a fuel pump, then get your flash.
