Need 20G-LT hotside help ASAP :(
Ok so does the 20G-LT not fit the 10.5 hotside that I currently have from my 20G-9-5? After trying to put the compressor side on it doesnt seem that it's going to fit... I didn't put much force behind it but read it includes a modified 10.5 housing. I guess this install is screwed
Can anyone confirm this?

Well that really sucks lol. I was under the impression I was getting the entire turbo not just the compressor. Guess the evo will sit on jack stands for a while bah.

No it's not FP's fault. A guy I know blew the turbo up and sent it to FP to get fixed but decided he didnt want to spend the 900$. I bought the turbo and paid him a lil $$ for it. I just assumed it came with the hotside but it didn't
My OEM parts didn't come in (hoses bolts washers etc..) so I guess it's OK to wait about a week

Trying to find some good/humor in this.
BTW If anyone might be looking for an 20G-9-5 that fits in a stock 10.5 housing I have one that will be for sale very soon!

I'm really not sure how he blew it up but he says he used his stock 9.8 hotside which I don't see how unless if this was a 20G-9-5 before I had it rebuilt.
Hopefully FP will have one of these already machined.. I'll fork out the $$$$ to get the car running next week. Otherwise I'll be sending in my 10.5 and will be forced to wait

I am curious as to what the price would be to have your existing 20G-9-5 converted into a 20G-LT, if you were to send it into FP. You could order a new, machined LT hotside from FP, to complete the 20G-LT which you just recently purchased, and then send your "old" 20G-9-5 into FP and have it made into a 20G-LT and sell it for $1700.

I thought about that but with everything else going on I'd rather sell it outright and let someone else do all the leg work. With a hotside it may not be too bad... just depends if its faster to machine the one I currently have or if they have any stocked that are ready to go.
