I would do anything for that 02 sensor spot, mine is 10x's worse; all crammed up in there...

looks like you got an externaly gated wastegate; should be pretty exciting .

The bottum of your car engine bay looks exactly like mine .

its a good spot if ur running a stand alone, aem has a very long 02 sensor but for stock, not soo good, it was like a foot short

 

So what turbo kit is it? 30?35?28? Looks nice tho

 

I dont know why people are doubting the wrap. The stock dp has all those heat shields so you need something to keep the oil pan cool and that stuff works so well on mine I can actually touch the dp only minutes after turning the car off.

What turbo you runnin'???

 

this kit was designed assuming that the purchaser would be using an external wideband unit like a PLX, FJO or AEM and more than likely a standalone ecu.

Once you get the kit running and learn how to work on the car youll appreciate it more. It does take some getting used to, but once you become familiar enough with the parts they are well worth the power gains.

 

geoff thats what i assumed as well... oh well... another thing which isnt really a big deal but my wastegate dump rubs driveways... i am not very low but the dump sits super low, lowest part under the car no doubt... ill probably have to chop that up when i get a chance.

loosen up the vbands a bit and try rotating the wastegate and dumptube, you should be able to move it out of the way. its also a good idea to put some anti-seize on both sides of the vband (Sealing surface and clamping surface) it makes adjusting it much much easier!

hmm i gotta see if i can get a hand in there, i think the dp stud is a mm away from the vband nut...

 

the vband clamp can be easily rotated to get the stud away from the nut. much easier with some antiseize on there!

 

i think i need to invest in some of this antiseize you talk about because there is no way i can get mine to rotate with the clamp on, even fullly loosened

 

its really cheap and will make your life much easier. I try to use it on EVERY nut/bolt on the car, especially for bolts in the exhaust system. Its the single most convenient mod you can make!
