ebay turbos:
Ebay manifolds and downpipes have been covered on this forum in the past.. run a couple searches but don't expect to buy an Ebay manifold and have it perform good reliably
yes the motor lasts for 8 sec's
But honestly, there are a few things you might want to consider. Like what the manifold is made of, Using anything lower weaker 304 stainless would prob crack over time, Plus how thick the material actually is. Quality of the welds would also be top on the list. Lastly is it a true equal length manifold. Im sure others will have more to add...but the main thing you should be thinking is...how long is this manifold going to last me.

i have alot of stuff from ebay, but not for my EVO. And yes i got some good numbers from my Ebay Projet eclipse 433hp/347tq. Not to mention that i bought my 2nd evo off ebay, 40k later still running strong.
ebay is good for some stuff, but depends on who you buy it from. you can find a good turbo if the person you buy it from pulled it from there car. Beware the "company" sites or the junk yard ****** though. Better chance finding one on a message board IMO. Gl though

Haha, lame, ebay is complete garbage. Just look on how the o2 housings are being made now. Thank god i got mine before that epidemic happened. haha. If you're going to upgrade the turbo its better to go legit and spend the extra cash instead of going through loop holes and going cheap.
I'm builidng a motor for this guy and every time he brings me crap parts he bought off of ebay. Junk gaskets, fake bov & wastegate. He bought an xs power manifold that feels like it would break if you dropped it on the ground. Has to be some of the thinnest wall tubing I've ever seen. The turbo is supposed to be a t-70, the way it's made it would probably take all day just to spool the damn thing. The inlet on the turbine housing is way too small. Too much junk floating around out there. Big waste of money.
