need some help on turbo selection
i have an 05 evo 8..see mods in signature. i am looking for a good bump in power but want to maintain close to stock spool time. the car is a daily driver. i would be running 93 octane only. from what i have read the fp evo green turbo

seems to fit my requirements. from what i have gathered in addtion to this i would need a fuel pump, 850 injectors and obviosly a re-tune (plan to keep stock cams). my question is there any other turbo comparable to this turbo or does this, based on what i am looking to do, seem like a good choice.
also will stock cams pose a problem with this set up or are aftermarket required. what sort of gains should i expect with this set up over my current one?

As for what else there is to do to gain more power on the stock 05 turbo? Get a good set of Upper Intercooler Piping, Lower IC piping, new aftermarket intercooler, a good o2 housing.
You will make more power on a 20g-lt(EvoGreen) for sure, on the stock cams. Aftermarket cams are not a must, but would be a great addition. If i were you, i would get the stuff i mentioned above, then get some good cams, then get the larger turbo. You will have better gains if you go this route. Spool up will be about the same as your stock turbo. If you go this route, expect to be in the 350whp+ range really easily.

thanks guys for the help. also per lancershop.com this turbo does not require a turbo kit to fit the evo 8.. does that seem right?

with 20g you'll be happy, I know I'am you add alky or race gas, I luv every minute of it, that turbo spools like stock turbo. I got 20g 6 blade but when it takes a **** *hope not* will get 20g LT -btw iam on 28psi with alky. I put 50-60 miles to work..
why do you want to upgrade the turbo when you still got at least 40+whp left on the table? for 1700$ I would rather see you do cams, e-bay o2, decat, ported manifold, LICP, drop in filter and custom tune. This should give you more power than a green turbo upgrade without additional lag

Why are you getting a new turbo before cams? This seems backwards to me...
