Where to get plugs.

I am in need of plugs... Today, I need plugs for an evo 8 that are 1 step colder than stock. My car started missing up top last night, and I know for a fact that I have never changed the plugs, and I have no idea if the mitsu service schedule has a new set of plugs between 1 and 44000 miles, because the only way the previous owner would have had them changed is if she saw that on the service schedule. Anyone know of any chains that would have colder plugs (napa. advance. pepboys), or a local SFL shop that I could stop by.

Any advanced auto type shop should have them, but they might not be in stock. The good thing is that they can do a search to see if any other stores in your area have some in stock.

1 step colder would be NGK BPR8ES, but I don't think you need those unless they're specifically for your overkill 100 shot. For your regular mods, you'd want NGK BPR7ES. One last thing is that you don't typically misfire up top when the plugs foul - you misfire at peak boost.

Yeah, my headgasket is ****ed anyway, so im not to worried about the plugs anymore, but yes, the one step colder was for the 100 shot, and I did end up getting three plugs from one advance and the fourth from another. Thanks warr.

get br7es. they are 1/2 a heat range coler than stock and are great for bolt ons with the stock turbo
get 8's if you have a 50trim or bigger turbo
