boost problem after tubo install

i just installed a BR35r and after i went to tial's page for the wastegate install i routed the the vac hose from the top of the wastegate to the bottom of the MBC and to the Intake Manifold. the nipple off the side of the wastegate is running to the side of the MBC. when i turn the car is at idle the wastegate is open and dumping air through the dump tube. when i'm trying to put the car in boost i only get about 3 psi. any ideas of whats wrong??

first - which springs do you have in the gate ? (which psi)

second - put the boost source from the turbo - to the MBC and then back to the bottom port of the gate

On street cars you dont use the top port on the gate

Its odd that you only make 3 psi - if the gate is open at idle the gate is not installed properly or is stuck open
