solid lifters

The european, australian and japanese tuners are now using solid lifters in their head's valvetrain replacing the stock hydraulic lifters. They claim 100hp gains on their 9 second EVOs. Is there anyone here uses them for racing here in the US? and how are they performing?

I know solid lifters worked well for the 1000hp skylines and supras as well as V8s and I wouldnt be surprised if it will work on the 4G63s. Its the same principles

Evo8, 522whp, HKS280, 3" fujitsubo exhaust, crower rods, valves and retainers, 2.3L, GT35R, 10.627@130.95mph 1.348 60ft.
