I just got my Precision Turbo & Engine FMIC. any one run one? If so how do you like it.... Here are a few pics.

I had a Precision intercooler on my turbo spec-v. One of the end tanks only had 3 sides welded, the side that wasn't welded obviously leaked pretty bad. I didn't notice it for awhile because I was running a blowthrough MAF. Other than that, every other precision product I've had was great.

Got one sitting at my shop they work great there was one on a older M3 with
700whp with no issues. Great buy good luck.

How's the size on it compared to stock?

it doesnt look as tall as most other intercoolers(ams,buschur,nesei).

 

Why is that? Please explain.

I measured the size of the core and its 10 1/2x24x3 1/2.

I got a great deal on a 50 trim kit, and this came with it also.

 

Negative, cast end tanks are better than the sheet fabbed end tanks. Fewer welds to leak at, and cast is stronger than sheet material. But I guess all the top Japan manufacturers dont know about end tanks though.
