HKS Version 2 BOV Question

Does anyone know what the difference is between the the 1st and 2nd model besides the looks??? iv tried looking around and couldnt find anything. i saw it online a few days ago and was just wondering what the difference was???

aside from adding cooling, not just a look, thats all. it will still give the evo the same probs the old version did..

I have the newest valve and there are no stalling problems. I also have an 03.......

These bov's have a lot of problems on evos period... unless you recirculate them. VTA is a bad decision.. My buddy had one on his car and he would idle up in the 6k range.. He ended up getting the HKS idle stabilizer and it solved the problem.. So I guess you can spend all of the money if you got it.. but If you want a solid bov .. the forge bov's are good .. and the jdm evo 9.. or the mr bov one that is metal.

I don't understand how you guys are running in to all these problems with BOVs VTA. My personal setup that i have going on right now has none of these issues other than some richness which is also due to my Works flash.

Are you guys not plugging up your intake pipe or what? I currently have a Greddy Type S w/ single spring mod and I have zero bogging or idle issues. Boost also holds @23 pounds and I only taper 1 psi (which has nothing to do with BOV as i tested with my stock IX bov).
