Question 12V Power under the hood?

I am trying to find a 12V source under the hood that comes on/off with the ignition key. I checked the fuse/relay box already and the Mitsubishi site has been unavailable recently.

Thanks,

Eric

In the relay block look for the ignition relay. It should be labeled. Putting some stereo goodies in today?

I'm looking for the same, though not for stereo-related goodies. I was just about to break down and go into the cab for it. I didn't see the ignition relay, but will now go back and look again. Anyone have a suggestion on how to wire into it though? Can't really just remove it - can you get access to the wires under it?

Thanks for the reply, no stero stuff here either, I wired up my wide band O2 sensor and the control unit mounts under the hood. I also now have an oil temp gauge, to compliment the EGT and boost gauge, let the games begin.

I did not exactly find the relay you mentioned but I was able to finally remove the bottom cover of the relay/fuse box. There was a nice 6-8 gauge wire (blue with white stripe) that comes on and off with the ignition (probably connected to the relay you mentioned. I added my own relay so as not to tax the power for whatever that is.
To get the bottom cover off I shoved peices of tywraps into the plastic releases and then wrestled with it for awhile.

Hey Mister2zx3,

I met your buddy Larry over at Alamo on Saturday, nice guy. I stopped in to get some Motul, and he happened to be there, we talked for quite awhile and he even let me drive his car. I was very impressed with the car, I am planning similiar mods in the near future, driving his car definitely inspired me (not that I needed it but...).

We will have to go Ranching soon.

Larry is a real cool guy. Once he gets the darn fuel tuned in he should have another 30 whp. But his ride is fun, huh? You two actually live real close I am guessing. He is up in Euless.

He has his coil overs just sitting at home. He's waiting to run some laps before he installs them to get a good comparison.

Did he have his silencer there to see the difference between the exhuast note with and without it?
