CEL and ECU

Hello. I know there has been discussion about this before but I am still unsure of the answer. Will the CEL caused by running no cat cause the ECU to throw a code and dump more fuel into the car to try to correct for the problem? We had the Buschur settings plugged into the car and had to adjust them significantly on the dyno because the car was still running rich. Just wondering if the ECU was dumping in more fuel to compensate for the CEL.

Whos TEST Pipe r u using? I heard ultimate-racing takes care of that. Also if it might help, I Usually tuned my car on the road and when getting on the Dyno it would be completely different settings, also after getting off the dyno i had to change my settings, Different temperature, humidity, also more ventilation hitting the IC on the road , will cause timing and fuel changes .
Turbo Cars, ...

I think it isn't the fact that the CEL went on.. I think the computer hasn't adjusted to the different configuration yet.. When I first installed my Air Filter it did the same thing, when I first installed the s-afc, it did the same thing.. after a day or two, it "Tuned itself" to adjust for changes.
