ok everytime i hit the gas i can hear an exhaust leak but for some reason at night i dont hear it as much, so now whenever i hit boost i always smell something burning afterwards. it would smell really burnt, does anybody know where this leak might be coming from? i started getting this leak after i put on a TBE.

 

did you put the donut gasket back on the o2 housing? sounds like you just have a exhaust leak...

 

no donut gasket because buschur's dp doesnt use it, so if you WOT with an exhaust leak u get a really nasty burnt smell after?

 

are you sure it's not clutch? is your clutch slipping? if not, it sounds like at WOT when the engine torques back something hot like a DP is touching something else and burning it.

 

i smelt the same thing after i installed my O2 housing...found out that its the O2 sensor wire that goes into the O2 housing...make sure no wire is touching anything that gets really hot.
