4th gear issue
I recently noticed that I can't downshift to 4th on the freeway without revmatching or putting it into third and then fourth. It upshifts just fine however last time at the track I missed 4th twice - which is a new phenomenon. It seemed a little notchy briefly after that but then seemd to fix itself. It's been weeks since that and I been driving it around with no issue at all until last night. I was screwing around with a buddy in a supercharged mustang and noticed I couldn't get to fourth from fith without doing what I mentioned above. Starting from 3rd gear rolls,however,presented no problems as the car upshifted great. Any clues? Car has a 7.25" twin disc and stock viscocity Amsoil GL-4 in the tranny. Could it be as easy a changing the tranny fluid?
