Alrihgt ive done alot of searching, but there are so many related topics that i cant seem to narrow down an answer. Alright heres my problem. I just got the car, and when i got it he had he car tuned to run 21psi, and it held 21psi all the way though the RPMs. In the last week or so, ive noticed the car is no longer hitting 21 psi in 1st through 3rd, and it tapers from 21 in 4th, 5th gear hits 21 and holds it, so it leads me to beleive the boost controller is not the issue. Ive read that the stock BOV has a bad habit of leaking, would that cause my problem all of a sudden like this? Are there other common boost leak locations? Ive still gotta take off the front bumper and check the clamps on the lower charge pipe (injen upper and lower) could that be the problem? Again im sorry if this has been covered a million times, but ive spent the last 2 days trying to find a solid answer but couldnt find one amongst all the boost leak threads. thanks for any help

Alright i did boost leak testing and found nothing, would this mean its definently the BOV then?

 

What boost controller are you using? What year is your car? What other mods besides the boost controller does the car have? Is the ECU flashed? Are you sure that the factory hoses with restrictor pills were eliminated by the previous owner?

It was put together and tuned at turbo trix, and from what ive read they seem to be a pretty knowledgable shop, so yes id imagine the pill was removed.
