If you never going to run anything else but pump... its going to be 50trim or 3076. More so the 50trim good numbers on boost. But with your AEM.. the 35r will give you 50trim numbers with room to make more power.

Since you are already in Europe, have done away with the restrictive MAF sensor, are keeping stock cams, and will be limited to 95 RON pumpgas, which is roughly equivalent to 91 octane R+M/2, I would have Turbo Dynamics in England configure a special 20G-LT with their 4" inlet compressor housing and ballbearing center section. This should be a great pump gas/stock cam turbo with extremely fast spool characteristics and improved topend due to its 4" inlet track all the way through, with no neckdown, from the air filter to the compressor inlet bell.

All of those other larger frame turbos won´t really have an opportunity to shine given 91 octane and stock camshafts, and shouldn´t be able to hold a candle to a fullhouse TurboDynamics/FP 20G-LT 4" B.B. turbo with respect to transient response and spoolup. I think some guy on LancerRegister is testing this hybrid. Just my $00.02.

EDIT: Another plus is that it´s a direct bolt on to the stock exhaust manifold. No need to purchase expensive remote wastegates, slimline fans, special downpipes, aftermarket BOV´s and etc. It´ll maintain the stock appearance as well.

Good pick on the Fp Evo green, but we have 100 octane pump gas (ron), not 95

yeah, I remember the one guy on Lancer register was going to have his EvoGreen upgraded with ball-bearings and a 4" ported shroud.

Never checked back to see his results though...

Steve,
How much power do you want? That is the first question you need to answer before picking a turbo. And to answer this, you have to realistic about what power/ lag combinations you are willing to live with. With your good gas, you can run more boost than what we can in the States.

I looked into this. Rather pricey as it must be sent to the UK and their exchange rate owns the dollar. Not to mention international shipping costs. If there was a conversion option stateside it "might" be worth considering. You'd be looking at a few hundred RPM quicker spool and a claimed 7-10 hp up top with the shroud. The only problem? It's supposedly a surge happy turbo.

I'd just go with a nice 50Trim and run a bunch of boost ...

50 trim can hold good amount of psi
really good choice if in the future i want to go bigger.
30r spools up faster
but i think evo green still the best one for pump gas only
