Downpipe Information Please ?!?!?!

I have a 2006 Evolution IX MR and i need a downpipe that has a cat delete built into it, i have no use for a cat so i don't want a test-pipe and a downpipe. I was looking at the dc sports downpipe. But people are telling me that they rub on the Evo 9 Mr tranny cause its bigger. Anybody with any suggestions ? Anybody got the dc sports on the evo 9 MR ? thanks to whoever helps with a non-smart *** comment (if you know what i mean) thanks !!!

I had the dc downpipe w/ cat delete ordered but canceled it. I figured one day I'm going to have to do emissions and I wanted the option to switch out for a high flow cat. I ordered the works exhale dp and test pipe, should be coming today. Once I install it I'll let you know how it works out.

Trust me, you'll want to use a test pipe. You never know when you'll need to install another cat.

DC Sports FTMFW! I got mine from Nolimitmotorsports for $245 shipped. No way you can find a quality %100 stainless steel DP and seperate TP for that price.

And it fit perfect in my IX!

Don't dealers have to follow emmissions rules too?

Get the DC its great. If you need to go to inspection, just bolt up your stock DP/cat, its just as easy to do that as it is just the cat.

You get the CEL from not having a cat, period. Whatever catback you have has the rear 02 sensor plugged into it which is giving the signal for the CEL. There are $5 extenders to fix that problem. I got mine from Gruppe-S.com

That's odd. Mine doesnt and my buddy's doesnt. Its CLOSE, but does not touch. I think there are just minor differences between the way they're tightended and such that makes some fit and some not.

I kno apex if you get the catback and downpipe, you can get the catback that deletes the test pipe and cat, and goes straight to the downpipe
