20glt supporting mods

I am looking to buy the 20glt turbo, but want to get the proper supporting mods first.

What would be an aggressive cam for this turbo? Would the AMS race FMIC be overkill or is that even possible? What size injectors would do?

Also with turbo will i need an o2 housing and a external wastegate and if so what ones?

Lastly, i am looking to build a daily driver so i am choosing the 20glt bc of its low end power. With this in mind would the 20glt benefit more from a built 2.0 or an ams 2.3 stroker?

What are you're performance goals?

Check out my post "2.3 liter IX running a Stock IX 16G Turbo Questions"
https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...d.php?t=271476

My performance goals...
As far as the ¼ mile Drag strip, if I could run say 11.5sec @ say 115. to 120.mph I would be just fine.
I would rather be quick then fast.

I am planning a 2.3 stroker, BR 20G-9lt turbo, AMS FMIC / LICP, 272 Cams, and fuel system set up for E85

I'm sure if you researched the other posts regarding the FP GREEN turbo you would be able to answer a lot of your questions. There is a thread where users are posting up their mods and dyno numbers with the FP GREEN turbo. BTW, the FP GREEN does not use an external wastegate.

Got the Green w/the mods in my sig. AMS fmic is perfect, 750cc injectors at least, ebay o2housing, and get the upgrade wga. GSC s1 cams since you gotta ix as well. That should do the trick, and don't forget a quality tune.

You don't need an AMS Race intercooler.

the regular ams is just fine.

as i've also discovered recently, you don't need a built 2.0 to run the evo green. stock is fine.

my green is being built as we speak, the hotside is getting ported and coated at the moment, i shoudl get it by the end of next week, my current mods are in my sig. i am ordering the standard WGA as for right now i am not running c16 or meth.

based on this information is it right for me to go with the standard wga?

odds and ends:

what size / brand injectors would u recommend.

when all said and done i plan to run this setup on stock ecu flashed by dynoflash.

hoping for 360-380 whp... possible? (23 psi on 93 octane)

You'll basically want every mod you can have, besides messing with the shortblock. Check out my mods. I have everything except a built engine and a full standalone.

Green isn't installed yet, but on June 16th everything gets installed. Tunage will happen shortly after

yeah i could get "every bolt on available" but i dont think that its necessary to run the green.

for instance, i dont think i need cam gears, ported throttle body, intake, etc etc...

for my mod list i think i have everything i need to run a green except for injectors/fmic/licp.

in any case, my question is, if not running c16, high psi/alky etc, do i need the high psi wga?

I would usually be a callous A-hole and tell you to search , but:

This setup got me in to the 10's.
HKS RS intake
20G-LT
BR LICP
BR Race FMIC
BR UICP
BR 65mm TB
Port polish mani
GSC 272's
ARP studs
DC ex. mani.
BR DP
BR tp
Greddy Ti
AEM EMS
HKS DLI II
NGK BR8es (0.24)
Denso 720's
Walbro 255
SMC Alky (not used w/ C16)

You decide about the BR vs. AMS on your own. I know what worked for me.

and for bejeebus' sake, SEARCH!

why are you being a douche? He was responding to the original post in this thread. In fact I linked to HIS thread for the OP to look at since he has pretty much every single mod you'd want to support the 20G-LT.
