I just installed my egt guage last nigh. I installed in into cyl 2 runner about 2-1/2 inches from the cyl head. As soon as I start the car, it was idling around 1000-1100 deg. F. Driving down the road is about 1250 around 40mph......and about the same at 65mph. If I redline it, the egt doesnt rise much.......maybe 1400 tops! Its all stock, and boost peaks around 18-19 psi and drops quickly after 6K rpms. Just wanna make sure this is normal! Thanks!

Log your actual load, you may not be reaching the boost you think you are .

I log at 240-250 load regularly at 1400 WOT. Stock engine but different boost levels, no exhaust or other mods other than custom ECUFlash tune so you may be at a different temp.
