Whining Sound, Not sure if it's the Transfer Case

Over the past couple days, I've heard a slight whine from 2k-3k RPM, In any gear. Even when I'm in neutral and I rev the engine slightly, I can hear the whine. I did some research and one thing I couldn't figure out if it was the T-Case or not. I read that the T-Case whine is very distinctive and you'll know it right away, Usually happens on the highway. But I'm unsure if the T-Case whine will get louder over time (Starting quite, Then getting loud like a siren). Last time the car had it's T-Case fluid change was at 30k miles and currently the car sits a little shy of 40k miles. BTW, It's a 2003 Evo 8 with no mods, But gauges. I'm the second owner of the car, Not sure if the drive train warranty is still being covered, Even if it is, I'm not sure how it would work out since I'm not the original owner.

When I drove my friend today, He said he could hear the sound coming from the front drivers side of the car. From what I read, It said that it could be some sort of bushing? So that's one thing that gives me hope that it's not my T-Case.

Any help would be appreciated, Hopefully my T-Case isn't going out on me.
