OK, so this search thing yelds no real answers for anything i search for. so ill ask away.

what is a good place to get a rebuild kit for a Garrett GT3076 (GT30R) turbo?

ive looked on-line a few spots and found a couple places that sell them but i need advise from you guys. i want to fully rebuild my turbo so im looking at a lot of money or no? i figure around 150 is an average price. what do you guys think.

also if their is any info on a speacil gasket or bearing to use that would be nice to know.

I got a guy in Indy/Bloomington who rebuilds them for 150. he does this all the time.

 

would he sell me a kit to do it? i want to do it myself. i cant really have the car down(i.e me sending it out then waiting) thats like 6 days by ground mail.
