Rebuild on T/C average price?

Whats an average price on rebuilding a whining t/c..im debating on buying a new one or sending mine out to get rebuilt..i just don't want a lot of downtime but if its a lot cheaper ill just wait to get a rebuilt t/c that way i dont have to worry about it breaking again than getting a new one and having the same thing happen again.
thanks guys

Be careful when considering rebuilding a transfer case mamny times the ring and pinion may be shot

if its just the front diff that is broken it can be fixed

My TC was whinning, I disassembled it to check out. Nothing is broken but my pinions were worn at edges, probably bad shims or bearing.

Anyway, mine is at Shep, I'll find out soon how much it's cost.
Shep had like 20ish sets of pinions and gears to rebuild TC couple of weeks ago
