If you do the Megan, it moves your turbo on top of the valve cover, so you have to get an aftermarket shaker hood.

The turbo doesn't move. Go for it. Just be aware that you won't get any noticeable performance gains though.

For reference, I dyno'd at 255hp/260tq stock. After the Megan mani, Megan O2, TTP downpipe and road tune I dyno'd at 293/291 ... so, not a huge gain. That said, a lot of people were upset by the numbers that day (some claimed to have dyno'd up to 30hp more on different days at the same dyno) so the numbers might be slightly off.

Final thoughts ... if you want the mani, do it. But, do it because it looks cool and know it gives only marginal gains.

Or, have it coated to help with temps and keep it looking nice. Even the ported stocker looks like crap if it isn't coated.

You know Warr, it's funny how you turn in to a 3rd grader when people have a different opinion than you.

Gotta agree w/Warr on this one. Just port/coat the stocker.

Not only will it most likely crack and turn brown, but the metal is very thin. I watched a guy with the megan manifold and a 20G-LT get dynoed and the Megan was glowing orange
