What is the difference between and auto and manual boost controller?

I am wondering what is the difference between a manual and an auto boost controller? I am new to boosted cars so I am not sure. I own a 2003 Evo 8 and I am wondering what is a good boost controller for the car? I was looking at the Apexi one and the HKS EVC but I am not sure. Any input on this?

Thanks guys
Chris

PS Can someone explain to me what exactly a Auto controller does as oppose to a manual and what each one would be better for?

DUDE! USE the friggin' Search! If you keep asking questions that you could have easily found, no one will answer you. Just an FYI.

And if everyone used the search function people would run out of questions to ask and this forum would not be active. Chill out man.

I am sorry if I offended you. I come to this forum to look for new topics. Its really hard to keep up with the latest posts when you have to filter through tons of posts with repeated questions. Good forum etiquette would be searching before posting.

Constructive Criticism - That's all it is. BTW, welcome to the board.
